He was truly a unique, highly talented individual, and I remember the turning of my stomach when "I heard the news." These are really terribly times for the ordinary guy, particularly as we watch the perpetrators enjoy themselves. Whenever I read about the Celtic Tiger in the news, I think of you. Here in the states, I think we are still in a desperate kind of denial-strange days.lil Glucksternhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09288522126331817172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4938060587020568315.post-54335354699535894482010-12-08T17:27:54.752+00:002010-12-08T17:27:54.752+00:00I also was watching Monday Night Football when How...I also was watching Monday Night Football when Howie (RIP) broke the news. He always had that edge, even with early songs like, Run For Your Life ("I'd rather see you dead little girl, than to be with another man,") mixed with some pretty sappy idealism.John McFetridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09442198820998606682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4938060587020568315.post-58516919225386388552010-12-08T13:49:46.885+00:002010-12-08T13:49:46.885+00:00Not too familiar with most of Lennon's post-Be...Not too familiar with most of Lennon's post-Beatles catalog. I worshipped them for a long time and John was always my favorite. I agree WCH is a tremendous song and the lyrics really are good. Green Day did a worthy cover not to long ago.Sean Patrick Reardonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14051252366031997054noreply@blogger.com
