I am exhausted; I feel like I was on a roller coaster ride, but it was one of the best thrillers I've ever read.<br /><br />And Nesbo's character development, his psychological understanding is really stellar.<br /><br />Stayed up nights for hours reading this book, mesmerized, wondering if the author could keep up the intensity, pace and death--and, yes, he sure could.<br /><br />Passed it on to a friend, and she just told me it's one of the best books she's ever read -- and she's up all night reading it.<br /><br />However, need a break after that one, a simple tale, to re-energize in order to start "The Devil's Star."<br /><br />Additionally, Nesbo is not "the next Stieg Larsson," or any other writer. He's distinctly Nesbo, and all that is good about his writing.
